Donner Summit Tunnels and Sheds

After a recent layout delivery back east, I arrived back home to start working on tunnels and snow sheds for my customer's Donner Summit layout in California. After a few trips to Donner Summit and hiking on Shallenberger Ridge above Donner Lake I was ready to begin. Tons of photos and measurements were taken on site so I could give these tunnels and sheds my best efforts. Although I can't build a few of them full size in HO Scale, They certainly do pose a challenge in trying to selectively compress each but still retain the look and feel of these amazing structures.
