Overall
view as you enter the layout room - looking North. This layout was unique
as it was 7-1/2' wide and was operated from a center aisle. It did require
a duckunder, but at 52" high it was a fairly easy -
"duckunder".

the center of the inside of the layout's aisle looking back towards the
room entry.

Dry
riverbed below the Weber River flood control dam. This was a work in
progress shot since the Weber River never goes dry.

and this is a freelanced scratchbuilt version resized to fit the layout.

just off I-84 on the south side of the freeway exit.

This
photo shows the layout's summit point and the double track grade crossing
to the vehicle bridge in the above photo. Note scratchbuilt cattle guard -
it features 2 removable grates, is 1/8" deep and is imbedded into the
pavement.

This
is the old freeway that used to traverse the Weber Canyon. The old freeway
used to traverse the canyon and run next tot he river. This particular
location is known as Devil's Gate and the Union Pacific since the mid
1860's has had several bridge variations over this part of the river and
canyon. The current version in the photos closely represents what you
would see today.

Union
Pacific 9711 heading into Tunnel 4 then on to the lower staging yard
(Ogden). These 2 tunnels do not exist in real life but were necessary to
transition from the upper deck of the layout to the lower deck staging
yard. Thanks
